Working together
What kinds of businesses do you work with?
We support owner-led and founder-led companies across a wide range of industries — typically from a handful of employees to 100+. If you’re trying to improve cash, profit, operations, or prepare for a transaction, we’re happy to discuss fit. See Services for representative industry examples.
Do you replace my CPA or bookkeeper?
No. We complement your tax and compliance partners. We focus on how you use financial information to run the business — pricing, cost structure, cash rhythm, dashboards, and decisions — not on tax filings or historical bookkeeping (unless we’re helping you fix or upgrade those processes).
What does “fractional CFO” mean in practice?
It means senior financial leadership on a part-time or project basis: forecasting, KPI design, board- or lender-ready reporting, scenario planning, and helping leadership interpret the numbers. The scope is tailored — from a short sprint to ongoing monthly rhythm.
How are engagements structured?
Every relationship is customized. After an initial conversation, we propose a scope with clear deliverables, timing, and fees. That might be a fixed project, a sprint, or a retainer for ongoing access. Nothing cookie-cutter.
Is our first conversation confidential?
Yes. We treat exploratory calls as confidential. We’ll discuss your situation at a high level and suggest whether an engagement — or a referral — makes sense.
Do you work remotely or on-site?
Both, depending on need and location. Much of our work is remote with structured working sessions; we can align on-site visits when deeper operational observation helps.
What should I prepare before we talk?
Nothing formal is required for an intro call. If you move forward, we’ll tell you which reports — P&L, balance sheet, cash summary, forecasts — will make the first working session productive.
Where can I read more between calls?
Our Resources section is a growing library of short articles on cash flow, leadership finance, and operations. It’s meant to complement — not replace — advice tailored to your business.
